Duties Include:

• Implementing merchandise group plans within the store when new product lines or seasonal ranges are being launched or when shelf modules are being reconfigured to reflect product sales.
• Rectifying fitting issues for products and modifying plans if product facings or locations don't make sense with regards to daily sales or what related products they are located next to. Example: If a plan wants certain brands to be grouped together but there is a discrepancy where a brand may have a single product embedded within a different brand's products.
• Extending certain product ranges during seasonal periods. Example: Increasing the stocks and gravy merchandise group for the Christmas period using the daily sales report on my PDA and common sense to see which product lines should get an increased shelf presence.
• Updating the mapping locations of products to reflect their new positions for the online order pickers using a PDA.
• Modifying, printing and displaying new product labels with updated facings, sizes and prices.
• Locating 'missing' products that have been outlined on picking reports and remapping products to fix any issues that led to products not being able to be found by online order pickers.
• Replacing damaged Shelves and shelf edge stripping.
• Using pallet trucks to move Point of Sale displays and other merchandise units into position.
• Conduct walk-throughs with the duty manager present or often the store manager to discuss my work and possible modifications to plans.
• Giving additional support to replenishment staff when my weekly workload is complete.

Duties included:

Week long work experience undertaken while in Sixth Form

Duties included:

• PAT testing equipment returned from building sites.
• Visual inspection of equipment.
• Identification of equipment faults and issues.
• Employing different methods to fix any damaged equipment and testing to ensure that repairs have been successful.
• Updating equipment records regarding PAT tests and any repairs
