My role at Metro Bank consists of being the first point of contact a customer will have in person. Representing the bank is important to me because I genuinely believe a good first impression really builds on to a lasting relationship and helps build the brand and confidence the customer will have with Metro Bank. As the first point of contact I will regularly be looking to improve the quality of service delivered and help the customer either make money on their existing funds or save money on their borrowing they may have elsewhere. Beyond products, I will be assisting the customer with digital channels, helping them have banking at the convenience of their fingertips. I regularly handle large amounts of cash through deposits and withdrawals and am constantly on the lookout for irregularities which I will send up to financial crime to look in to. I am multi-skilled in my role at Metro Bank and also open accounts for customers. I really enjoy doing this as it gives me the time to build rapport with the customer and help me find ways I can help them with what's important to them, be it savings accounts for the children or speaking about their future plans such as mortgage and the long term savings goals needed to get there. I am success driven and am looking for something more than this role can give me.
