Reliable Clinical Support Worker adept at thriving in fast-paced healthcare settings. Manages patient documentation and provides comprehensive handovers to ensure continuity of care. Maintains a positive attitude while adapting to evolving care requirements to enhance patient outcomes.
I have been working in care for nearly 9 years starting with my first qualification in Care with Edinburgh college. I progressed to Napier University in 2018 to start my Bachelor's degree in Adult nursing. I carried out 2 years of this degree however, due to unfortunate personal circumstances had to finish my studies early before qualifying as a registered nurse.
My training provided by both college and University, covering numerous placements alongside working at the same time with NHS lothian staff bank for approximately 8 years has allowed me to grow and more importantly deliver a high standard of experience and skills on a daily basis in a health care setting.
I am a very reliable team player, can find my feet in a very fast changing environment with minimal supervision. I work well with quick and new change and adapt proficiently to learning education as required to improve the care of the patient and the environment.
Working with patients and their families is something that seems to find easy and rewarding. I consider myself a good listener and communicator which helps build on patient trust and confidence. I am looking to challenge my career as a clinical support worker to become a permanent team member in your establishment and be able to deliver care and support to both team and patients from my background experiences from working in a variety of wards and postings.
Work Experience
I assisted in various roles at university for approximately 10 years. Supporting students during enrollment, freshers month, examinations, graduations, training and development, acting as departmental HR advisor.
