Jacob Wall

After completing my first year at university I returned to my local Coop as part of the management team. I began learning how to operate in a leadership role and adapted quickly. The duties I had as a customer team member still formed part of my role, however my responsibilities now also included; organizing and delegating work for the rest of the team, stock management, cash management and leading the team I work with. I continued to work as a team leader, part time, throughout my second year of university in Nottingham. I am currently working at my local Co-Op branch in Silsoe until I return to university in September

• Whilst still at school, and during my first year of university, I worked as a customer team member across a number of Coop stores, both under the instruction of management and independently
• My duties included; replenishing stock, working on the tills, completing time specific tasks, creating reports, and anything else that was necessary to help the shop run as efficiently and effectively as possible, ensuring compliance with current legislations.

• Whilst I studied for my A levels I worked at Redborne Upper School, part time, managing the lighting and sound equipment for externally booked events
• I was also responsible for authorising external technicians that intended to use the Schools equipment.

• During the Christmas period of 2019 I worked part time At HMV as a customer service retail assistant

• I started work at the White Hart from the age of 15
• I was initially a kitchen porter but was soon promoted to Commis Chef
