This position set the foundation of my work ethic, I was frequently servicing food drinks and general event activities to crowds in the hundreds. This is important to establish public speaking skills and general professionalism, Skills important when in a public facing role. This position taught me numerous skills and life lessons that are incredibly important to work life in general, such as:

  • The ability to commute , I was a sixth form student during my employment at Channels, I often completed a 2 hour commute the morning after a late shift or would come straight to work from sixth form, building my tolerance to long distance commutes and disallowing them from effecting my work performance.
