As an Overnight camp Counsellor I was responsible for looking after and providing support for all campers present at the camp as well as supervising various games and activities to ensure safety and enjoyment. I monitored camper activity in cabins and outdoor areas to address rule infractions to reduce risks for campers and staff.
While at camp I was trained in CPR techniques and how to handle an emergency situation if one was to arise as well as carrying out search drills in case a camper went missing.
