Jack Kelly

• my ship a was a type 45 destroyer by the name of HMS Diamond i had to adapt to a life at sea conducting many simulated wars against such countries as Russia and China and North Korea.
• I had many key roles to play such as optimised deployment of troops based on needs of strategic operations, Identify threats to security by use of secure communication channels to exchange critical information.
• another part of my role in the Royal Navy was counter piracy off the coast of Somalia during this time I Oversaw correct use of military weaponry and advanced equipment Defended human rights and supported peacekeeping efforts and I Followed senior officer orders to direct operations and activities in the Diamond Carrier Strike Force unit.

During my time in the navy i visited many places not many

not many people would have the chance to visit and i believe

it has given me the skills to become a very good leader outside

of the military world.

• whilst working for Hardys Services I felt very comfortable working alongside them due to my previous work at PMP as it was very similar work. The job involved maintenance of pipes and valves for fresh water and sewerage water and also involved some roof repairs for reservoirs. All repairs were completed by referring to engineer drawings.

Whilst working for Ringstones construction part of my daily routine would be to Keep building and construction areas clear and tidy, reducing site risks and to Prioritise jobs effectively to meet daily construction deadlines. Part of my role was to also Store building materials safely and securely, minimising damage and loss.

I started working for PMP during my time at college i was on a level 3 nvq course at the time the work was very rewarding i particularly liked working away from home. The work was very demanding and we produced high quality work to tight deadlines to achieve targets.

we visited many sites across the country and abroad to support servicing and maintenance tasks on such this as fresh water pipe lines and fresh water valves we also worked on sewerage pipes and valves.
