Having most recently being employed as a Secondary Teacher of PE successfully completing one year on my ECT induction period, I am seeking a new teaching opportunity for October 2025.

Passionate about teaching to secondary pupils, I have demonstrated a versatile and refined skillset in my professional life. Notably, I have a proven track-record of creating challenging and positive learning environments including in PE, extracurricular clubs, cover lessons, and PHSCE. Furthermore, I have also shown strong academic ability achieving the highest overall mark on my degree course. This foundational knowledge alongside my continued dedication to professional development and reflective practice, transferred to my most recent post where I taught a range of high-quality lessons that met the needs of all learners both in physical activity spaces and classrooms.

Furthermore, there are personal experiences and characteristics I possess desirable for secondary teaching. I am a trustworthy, conscientiousness and punctual professional who can draw upon a wide range of recent and past competitive sport experiences to role model and promote the benefits of PE. I have also shown an ability to take on extra responsibility and an emerging capability to teach outside of a PE setting, showcasing my suitability for a range of posts within a secondary school.
