I volunteered at Trent Bridge Care Home, where I supported residents by assisting with hair styling and personal care. Many of the individuals I worked with were living with dementia, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities, which required patience, understanding, and a compassionate approach. This experience was highly rewarding, as it allowed me to make a positive impact on their wellbeing and confidence while developing my personal and caregiving skills. I found great fulfilment in being able to support and connect with residents in a meaningful way.
