Summary

Through my BA (Hons) Primary Education degree at the University of Greenwich, I completed full-time professional placements across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, gaining experience in fast-paced, people-focused environments. I independently planned, delivered and evaluated learning activities, assessed progress, adapted resources and provided targeted support to meet a range of needs.

During my final placement, I took responsibility for the majority of the class timetable, strengthening my organisation, communication, time management and leadership skills. This developed my ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines and remain calm and professional in busy environments. I also used feedback to improve outcomes, demonstrating a flexible, reflective and proactive approach to professional development.

Alongside my placement responsibilities, I worked collaboratively with staff, families and wider school teams, contributing to meetings, CPD, events, enrichment activities and displays. These experiences have built strong transferable skills in teamwork, relationship-building, problem-solving, digital resource design, safeguarding awareness and professional communication.
