
As a Core Support Customer Operative at Monzo, I've seen firsthand how strong Data Governance and responsible data use are essential to both maintaining customer trust and ensuring standards. My experience in operations has given me a solid understanding of how policies work in practice, and I am now ready to move into a specialist role where I can focus on the why behind those processes and contribute more strategically. I am motivated by identifying emerging risks and helping to mitigate Conduct Risk and Financial Crime at the source, ensuring Monzo remains safe as it expands. I bring analytical rigour from my Planning degree, alongside the high-stakes confidentiality and sound judgement developed during my career as a Registered Nurse. Currently upskilling through the ICA Certificate in Compliance, I am well-placed to support the Data Protection team in helping Monzo continue to grow safely, ethically, and accountably.
I am highly goal-driven in my personal life, currently training for a Half Marathon after securing a competitive entry into the Great North Run. To support my physical endurance and mental focus, I practice Pilates. My creative outlets include landscape painting and singing, which reflect my appreciation for detail and persistence.
