Summary

Once Finishing School I went to Suffolk new college to study a Level 3 extended diploma in engineering which included mechanical and electrical engineering. Once finished with my studies I got an Engineering based role as a Wagon fitter at freightliner. Here I developed a number of certifications and trainings. My most notable one being my completed certification in Hegenscheidt Wheel Lathe. To earn this certification (whilst working in a different department) I put hundreds of hours of overtime and weekend work into learning and studying the wheel lathe in my own time to a point where I am fully competent with Hegenscheidts Standards. With this certification I have worked with a range of different companies while based at freight liner which include Greater Anglia, Alstom and GBRF. Furthermore I am currently studying with the Open university in perusing a Bachelors then a Masters Degree in English in my free time, whilst balancing along side a full-time working life.
