  • Gained experience in working environment at Telent during work placements in year 10 and year 12, enhancing communication skills and building confidence through professional interactions. I got to experience the requirements of being a communications engineer and working in a team environment.
  • During this placement, I learned not only how to identify and fix problems but also how to implement effective solutions. I took the initiative to apply my own ideas to resolve issues, which helped develop my confidence and problem-solving skills.
  • The experience strengthened my interest in working towards clear goals and changed the way I approach challenges by combining established processes with researched solutions to achieve the best outcomes.
  • These two weeks taught me about the value of help from others and how teamwork helps to achieve a goal.

HOBBIES

I am an endurance runner for Bedford and County Athletics Club and have been competing for three years at club and county level. I train six days a week and this has enabled me to develop my determination, dedication and consistency, throughout this time. These skills have been helpful in creating a strong mindset towards setbacks where positivity and reflection have helped me to focus on my goal and work towards achieving my best outcomes. This journey has helped me reach some of my goals like running at English schools’ cross-country championships and many other national and local races.
