Isaac McCandless

I consider myself to be a highly motivated, hard working individual .I pride myself in being punctual and reliable . During my time at school I have 100%attendance and no late or behaviour logs against me .I have excellent communication skills and consider myself to work well under pressure. I was privileged to hold the position of Head Prefect during my last year at school .Part of my role was to lead a team of Prefects , help at various open evenings and was a regular speaker on behalf of school .I also mentored younger year groups I consider myself as being an excellent team player and during Year 10 of school I obtained my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award .I participated in various expeditions to achieve this and I am hoping to work on getting my Gold at 6 form . Part of my voluntary work coinciding with my Bronze was to volunteer at my previous primary school in their After School Club running Art , Craft and Games sessions .

As part of my school elective programme I have attended apertura classes and spoke in regular debates interviewing various local MPs and recently visited London and The Houses of Parliament.

As a keen footballer I have played for over 12 years for local clubs and have achieved various awards such as players player ,parents player, managers player and a number of sportsmanship awards.
