Possession Support staff working on the Thameslink Project at London Bridge. Having completed my Personal Track Safety training, Industry Common Induction, Emergency First Aid, Lookout and Level B Strapping and Switching training, my role was to support the PICOP and ES in establishing the Possession, Worksites and Isolations in and around London Bridge. This is an extremely important and dangerous role, where attention and attention to detail is required given the environment I am working in and that passenger trains and engineering trains are running. The 750 volts DC Conductor Rail can be live during part of the work, and the work is mainly done during the night. The London Bridge rail infrastructure and track layout is extremely complex, I am required to understand track diagrams, signal diagrams and electrical layout to ensure that I can fulfill my role to the best of my ability. This ensures that the planned works go ahead on time, and there are no disruptions to the planned train timetable. Work References are available on request. Below are the competences I hold and the dates I achieved them.
