- Cricket. Watching ever since I can remember, and playing open age cricket from the age of 11 to this day. I've had various committee roles over the last 30 years, including Chairman, Secretary and Communications Officer, where I ran all of our online profiles including building a very successful website. I've also been a key member of our ground staff over the last 5-6 years.
- Hedgehogs. I helped my wife run a hedgehog rescue centre for several years. We started out rescuing hedgehogs native to this country, the European hedgehog, but in 2010 we also started rescuing captive bred pet hedgehogs - commonly known as African Pygmy hedgehogs.
