  • Trusted to oversee and manage packs of up to 20 dogs on a daily basis
  • Leading sessions to improve behavioural issues for all dogs that may be reactive, nervous, hormonal etc.
  • Shadowing and assisting with classes directed towards owners (puppy, advanced puppy and adult classes) using exceptional customer service skills to inform, instruct and demonstrate in a friendly manner.
  • Solving a variety of behaviour related queries from owners, helped by my experience and problem-solving skills.
  • Organising the shifts of volunteers and incorporating them within the rota of permanent staff.
  • Planning out the work for volunteers with detailed instructions and a priority rating based off of the urgency of the work.
  • Ensuring constant communication through the daycare's radio system, especially when moving dogs into different arenas to make sure that we do not group dogs that have conflicting behavioural issues.
  • Cleaning and tidying the daycare in line with the Health & Safety at Work act (1974) and The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations (2002)
  • Offered pet sits for clients who were travelling away and needed someone to look after their dog. If training was ongoing, I would guarantee that the training would continue.
