Dedicated and conscientious financial accountant and analyst with over six years of professional experience in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry. Acknowledged for reliability, integrity, and quick-learning ability. I am resourceful, ambitious and eager to take on a role that offers me greater autonomy and responsibilities allowing me to challenge myself more. I have recently started my CIMA and hope to begin my exams this year.
I am currently a PAA within the Project Finance Execution team with strong experience across a growing portfolio of Obsolescence contracts. I have played a key role in the mobilisation of seven of these contracts, supporting the full start of the lifecycle from contract award through to CSR reviews, whilst building strong relationships with Project Managers and Project Control teams.
Over time, I have developed a broad technical skillset, taking ownership of tasks such as hedging, managing claims and payment plans, producing interim results, and completing cost transfers, before successfully handing these activities over as my role evolved. My current focus is on outlook modelling, Integrated Business Planning, and CSR delivery, where I add value through accurate forecasting and insight. I have also contributed to LTB and IEP contracts, including working on multiple LTB stock audits and introducing a new monthly reporting process to improve year-end management.
During a recent team transition, I provided key support to ensure a smooth handover when my Project Finance Lead moved roles. In addition, I was lucky to be a part of the FITTER stretch assignment, where I supported both the planning and execution of the event, further developing my organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
Looking ahead, I am keen to continue my progression at BAE Systems wherever I can. Recently I have been interested in contributing to CSR and Outlook model standardisation initiatives, and delivering additional training to Project Control teams, particularly those newer to the CSR cycle—a gap I have identified and am passionate about addressing. I am highly motivated and enthusiastic about my career, and I look forward to continuing to grow and contribute within the business.
The main aspects of my role included leading labour analysis and developing sales reports, managing budgeting and enforcing cost control measures. By using multiple data sources I compiled new dashboards for clarity across the wider business and the shop floor, ensuring everyone from the leadership team to the engineers had the full picture to drive strategic decisions.
Pursuit Aerospace offered me an apprenticeship in September 2019 after a temp role and I achieved distinction and pass grades in my AAT. Picking up the systems quickly and analysing current processes to introduce new ones such as escalation planning for bad debt
