Within this role I ensured pupils were directed to the dining hall and presented with specific lanyards as per their dietary requirement. Whilst in the hall I ensured every pupil had either a school meal or packed lunch from home. I assisted pupils that required help and made sure everyone was behaving as per the school policies.
Once their lunch was finished they proceeded to the playground where I ensured pupils were safe and happy. I administered first aid when needed, recorded them in a ledger and reported any safeguarding issues to the Head. When all pupils were back in class, I then assisted in clearing the dining hall.
In this role I worked in the food hall. I ensured products on the shelves were within date and reduced those that were nearing sell by date. I replenished the shelves with new items and made sure each shelf was tidy, all within a strict timeframe. Whilst the store was open I assisted any customers to locate products, order goods and operated the tills.
I worked within the Womenswear department, assisting customers. Ensuring the shop floor was clean and tidy. Processing items through the till. Promoting company store cards. Manning the changing rooms.
Supervise and assist Manager in the process of foreign exchange transactions, money market trades and agree confirmations between our company and others Banks. Compile reports and record statistics. Liaise with traders to rectify any trade differences. Ensure all roles within in the department run smoothly and on a timely basis.
Assist in setting up a new back office system. Compile procedures in written format to enable each process runs smoothly and within company standards and FSA requirement.
Process and settle foreign exchange and money market transactions. Ensure payments are made within deadlines. Reconcile bank accounts. Check confirmations are correct and complete. Update standard settlements instruction within the company system. Liaise with customers to rectify any trades differences. Converse traders to resolve any trade errors.
Working within the foreign exchange and money market investigations department I investigated any payment discrepancies. Liaising with customers and traders to rectify any issues and send relevant costs to counterparty at fault.
Within the settlements department I ensure trades were correct and paid within deadlines. Liaised with counter parties and traders to resolve any issues.
Working within the Foreign Exchange and Money Market settlement department I processed trades via an internal system, checked trade confirmations, collated trade positions for traders to square, investigated any payment discrepancies, reconciled bank accounts and general duties within the settlements department.
Within the settlements department I moved on to every desk in the back office to cover all roles.

From back office I was promoted to the trading floor as a traders assistant. I took details of trades from brokers and covered positions for small currencies by trading in the money market. I liaised with our back office to ensure all our bank account were flat.

During the time I was not working I volunteered at a local Church run toddler group. I love being around children and started by helping out in the class, to eventually running the group. Both of which I enjoyed immensely.
In my spare time I enjoy going out with my family to the cinema, theatre and walks/bike rides in the countryside.
