Work history

Waitressing

Events and Parties
Occasions
  • Worked as a waitress at many parties and events, making, serving and cleaning food and drinks throughout the night. I adapted and learned quickly to be productive, and demonstrated friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.

Volunteer

GVI Conservation
2025.07 - 2025.08
  • Worked for two weeks researching conservation and environmental influences on marine animals. I conducted research and collected data in a large group setting daily - then presented my findings in smaller groups. This improved my communication and teamwork skills especially on tasks that were new and unfamiliar to me.

Dog day care

Amanda Douglas
2025.02 - 2025.06
  • I carried out tasks carefully and efficiently when instructed, such as walks, feeding, playing and cleaning up for dogs. This helped me show my organisational skills and help in many different areas.

Assistant hockey coach

City of Bath
2023.09 - 2024.03
  • Attended weekly training sessions for an U8's age group, planning fun, effective activities to engage the children and then providing constructive feedback for individuals and team progression. This allowed me to show patience and kindness whilst also demonstrating leadership and confidence.

Education

Kingswood Senior School
Bath

Skills

  • Good teamwork - playing in many team sports meant learning to work with other people and understand and take into consideration different views and opinions

  • People skills - working at events allowed me to present friendliness and respectability
  • Flexibility - working with children and dealing with animals has meant I have developed strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to challenges that need quick thinking solutions
  • Confident working alone - I am an independent individual and can comfortably carry out tasks on my own
  • Creativity - I thoroughly enjoy learning and working through hands-on tasks where I can apply my skills practically
