From leaving school with no qualifications, I took a job at a local warehouse where I worked for 3 years, gaining an NVQ2 and being promoted until they relocated, and I was made redundant
I applied for a job as an apprentice bricklayer at a local firm and haven't looked back!
Throughout my career, I have enjoyed taking on challenges and learning new skills that have helped me professionally as well as personally.

Hi, my name is Harry, I'm 48, married for 25 years with two boys in their early 20's.
I have been in the construction industry for 28 years.
I enjoy walking, 5 a-side football and when I have the time, fishing.
I am currently a jobbing builder working in the domestic market doing anything from maintenance/small works/extensions to bespoke new builds, this work involves meeting potential clients, pricing the work, sourcing materials, maintaining budget and build schedule and quality of the finished project whilst keeping a strong heath & safety ethos.
I have been considering a change of direction for quite a while now and have recently renewed My CSCS card, completed a First aid at work course and gained SMSTS accreditation.
I really look forward to hopefully meeting you in person to discuss the possibility of joining your team.
