I am a motivated and responsible student with a strong interest in health, fitness, and helping others. I am looking for a part-time role where I can develop my skills, gain real-world experience, and make a positive contribution to a team environment. I previously completed all the levels of Swim for England up to stage 7, and continued to the Rookie Lifeguard course at Farnborough Leisure Center, where I started gold level; the course ended due to Covid. I then joined Star Diving club at intermediate level at Guildford Spectrum where I trained and competed for 18 months.
I am currently a member of the Village gym and have been for several years, giving me a good understanding of the gym environment and a passion for developing my own fitness, and also for helping others to achieve their goals. I also have experience with computers and technology, having worked on personal projects that involve troubleshooting, problem-solving, and learning new software. While this is a different area, it has helped me develop transferable skills such as attention to detail, patience, and independent learning — all of which I can apply to any work environment.
My role as a Swim Helper at First 4 Sports involves supporting the swimming instructor by ensuring students listen, understand, and follow instructions. With over two years of experience, I’ve developed key skills such as communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow direction — all of which are easily transferable to any job role. This position has also helped me become a quick learner, confident in communicating, picking up new tasks and applying them effectively in a real-world setting.
