I instruct a range of activities including windsurfing, paddle sports, dinghy and keelboat sailing, teaching a range of different ages and abilities working on their confidence on and in the water, building their communication skills along with giving them invaluable knowledge and experience in the different activities they take part in.

• I instruct a number of stages to a wide range of young ages, I teach different strokes and encourage the children to have fun but be safe whilst swimming.

• Pool lifeguard responsibilities including first aid, general poolside duties, cleaning, managing activities, health and safety, rescue and assitance to pool users. Helping everyone have a fun time and enjoy the water safely.

• Lifeguard duties including, first aid, water and beach patrols, radio communication and working with other emergency responders, beach safety and maintaining hygiene standards and most importantly carrying out rescues if needed.
• Sea Safe activity instructor, working with local School children teaching them how to swim and be safe in and around the sea, playing games and having fun!
• Beach Rookies instructor, providing a course to local young people, teaching them the skills and knowledge to be both pool and beach lifeguards. This includes first aid, water rescue techniques, team work, general beach safety and playing fun beach based games.
• Through this role I am very proud to have achieved the Solent swim twice, raising money for the beach charity that involves swimming four miles from Gosport to Ryde.
• I have achieved my RYA - PWC Jet Ski qualification and have both first aid and defibrilator certificates.
