In August of 2024, I made the decision to take on a new challenge. I began working as a mental health support worker in a crisis café based in Macclesfield. Supporting others has always been a passion of mine and I took this time to further this and improve my soft skills. Some of my main duties included:

• Delivered crisis intervention during critical incidents, ensuring immediate support.
• Assisted service users by providing emotional and practical support.

• Participated in ongoing training courses, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of mental health practices.

• Raised and navigated safeguarding procedures, ensuring service user safety.

• Managed and maintained service desk to address client requests efficiently.
• Created tickets in bug management system according to client specifications.
• Conducted functional, non-functional, regression, accessibility, load, and ad-hoc testing.
• Collaborated within agile and waterfall methodologies on fixed-price and agile projects.
• Communicated effectively with clients to ascertain requirements and expectations.
• Oversaw testing for two squads, ensuring timely completion of tasks without quality compromise.
• Adapted quickly to fast-paced environment while honing attention to detail.
