I am currently studying towards SQA Higher qualifications in Music, Administration and IT, and Religious and Moral Education, alongside an SQA Level 5 qualification in Childcare.
I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, which enable me to provide excellent customer service and work effectively with a wide range of people.
I am reliable, punctual, and committed to carrying out my responsibilities to a high standard.
Through my voluntary role with a local charity group, I have gained valuable experience in supporting others and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
I am highly organised and able to manage my time effectively, allowing me to balance my studies, voluntary work, and other commitments successfully.
I am a warm, friendly, and approachable individual who takes pride in presenting myself professionally.
I am hardworking, enthusiastic, and always strive to complete every task to the best of my ability with a positive attitude.
I have a longstanding love of musical drama and performing. I also enjoy playing netball and going to the gym. I also enjoy listening to music and going to the cinema.
Following a competitive recruitment process, I was appointed School Captain for S6 at Caldervale High School, a role that has strengthened my leadership, communication, and organisational skills. As School Captain, I act as a positive role model for younger pupils, represent the views of students, and contribute to the wider school community.
In my spare time, I volunteer with Ups & Downs Theatre Group, a local musical theatre charity for children and young people with Down syndrome and their siblings. The group provides an inclusive, supportive environment where members can develop confidence through music, dance, and live theatre performances. Their outstanding work has been recognised nationally through both the Pride of Britain and Pride of Scotland Awards for promoting inclusivity and creating a safe, welcoming space for all participants.
During S3, I nominated Ups & Downs Theatre Group for a Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) funding award as part of a school-wide competition. Working collaboratively within a team, I researched the charity's history, values, and objectives before delivering a persuasive presentation to my peers to gain their support. As a result of our successful campaign, the charity was awarded £3,000 in funding. This experience strengthened my teamwork, public speaking, research, and presentation skills, while demonstrating the positive impact that effective communication and determination can have within the local community.
Through my voluntary work with Ups & Downs Theatre Group I hold a basic PVG disclosure.
