Recognition for Making a Positive Difference

Was selected and awarded a gift voucher from the Area Manager for providing the Store manager and the team with my hard work and support.

Went from a no-previous-experience trainee to a confident barista, in my first month, after completing a Coffee Audit and online assessment of coffee knowledge. Within three months of working, I signed off as a Shift leader, meaning greater responsibility within the team and administrative roles.

Unpaid Volunteering

WorkAway Volunteering teaching English in Vietnam ~ April 2024

Volunteered whilst travelling at a local farm, and taught English to children from young ages. This involved creating fun interactive activities and games, as well as creating farm/animal related vocabulary games.

Riverbridge Primary School (Staines, Surrey) ~ March 2015

Unpaid work experience as a teaching assistant for a class of year 2 schoolchildren for a week. Shadowed staff, by observing the role of primary school teachers whilst also supervising children during daily lessons and during break times. By helping guide children in their learning allowed me to learn the importance of a ‘positive role model' and thesupportive and attentive skills that are essential in the education sector.
