In all of my roles, in both previous and current positions, I have always been a resilient, hard working person. I am driven to resolve queries and conflicts to the best of my ability and aim to find positive outcomes for all. I feel that I have very strong communication skills. I am able to communicate positively and effectively and I am able to understand and hear what others say, making them feel valued. In my current role, I use Microsoft applications frequently and use a database to log and record data in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Daily, I also observe and record data on a learning platform to document our students progress.
I currently work as a level 3 teaching assistant in a primary school. My day to day tasks involve working alongside the class teacher to deliver phonics, literacy and Maths lessons throughout the day. I plan and implement my own phonics lessons and independently plan activities for the children to access on a daily basis. I also support children with SEN and behavioural needs and create a positive, engaging environment for all children to access and learn. I deliver lessons in small intervention groups to further aid and support our pupils with their learning journey.
Whilst working at Tesco, I worked as part of the stock replenishment team in order to maximise product availability for customers. I also supported my colleagues by working as part of the customer service team, handling customer returns and complaints and working hard to resolve any queries and enquiries customers may have had.
I worked at Expedia as a customer services advisor handling telephone calls throughout the day for customers requiring assistance with medical and legal appointments. I would use a booking system to arrange appointments for customers and liaise via telephone and email with medical and legal professionals in order to support our customers with their ongoing health concerns. I would record information from these telephone calls on our booking system and process paperwork to be posted out in accordance with company procedure. I would also handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions to guarantee positive outcomes, whilst relying on my strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts.
I am a very hard working, positive individual who can work well independently and as part of a team I work well under pressure and strive to resolve conflict and provide positive, effective resolutions for everyone I feel that I have a number of transferable skills from working in varied roles and I am very quick to learn and eager to gain and harness new skills I have a very good work ethic and take pride in completing tasks and seeing positive outcomes I work well alongside others and always strive to be a positive support for colleagues and customers alike
