I joined the army as it was a childhood dream as i came from a family where my mum/dad and brother all served in the armed forces.
I started as an apprentice plumber with Baillie's plumbing and quickly excelled and within my first two years i was able to work independently with clear instructions and carry out tasks such is first and second fix of new build properties. Once i attained my driving licence i was attending small breakdown job on my own within my second year of my apprenticeship. During my first three years of my apprenticeship i attended Falkirk College where i excelled to the top of my class and would often finish my tasks and tests first. I completed my apprenticeship and achieved my NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services Plumbing. I also gained my bpec qualification in domestic gas core gas pipework, Boilers / water heaters/ Cookers/ Fires.
Throughout my time at high school i enjoyed my chosen subjects and achieved good grades. After four years i achieved the following standard grades,
