Graham Baillie

• My brother and I bought over Amber Gas Group in 2017.
• We started to offer quality control and assurance for multiple housing associations including West of Scotland Housing Association with a housing stock of over 3000 houses. Our role was to check every aspect of and gas work carried out in tenants houses including customer care and report back to the housing association.
• We employed multiple trades to carry out social housing bathroom/ kitchen and boiler upgrades.
• We personally trained multiple plumbing apprentices.
• We worked with Site managers and Contract managers to carry out these contract and complete them often ahead of schedule.
• Recently i have been subcontracting to British Gas as an install engineer carrying out boiler upgrades and repairs.

• Started my own company carrying out contracts such as maintenance contracts on domestic boilers.
• Contracts for estate agents carrying out landlord gas safety certificates.
• Done full new build projects for various builders meeting all their plumbing and heating requirements.
• Done full Plumbing and heating renovations for housing.
• Done a full plumbing and heating renovation of the hotel Inglewood House And Spa in Alloa.
• Carry out maintenance for all aspects of the domestic plumbing and heating in the Hotel.

• After leaving the army i retrained as a plumbing and heating engineer regaining my domestic gas qualifications.
• I was part of a team responsible for carrying out routine maintenance to social housing.
• I was part of a team responsible for installing and maintaining boiler and heating systems.
• I carried out everything from changing tap washers to installing full plumbing and heating systems ie bathroom and boiler and radiators.

I joined the army as it was a childhood dream as i came from a family where my mum/dad and brother all served in the armed forces.

• I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the armed forces.
• I completed my basic training at Catterick school of infantry where i was awarded the top shot out of my platoon. I joined the Fifth Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland ( Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders).
• I took part in many varied training deployments and was deployed to Afghanistan in March 2008 as part of the intelligence core for A Company.
• I was part of a three man team where it was our duties to gather intelligence from the locals and from our troops whilst on patrol, collate the intelligence and issue reports and full briefs to the higher ranking platoon Sargent's and officers before the next patrol.
• Documented and processed classified materials for units, maintaining complete confidentiality.
• I was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in May 2009 where i was a section second in command.
• Whilst i was in the army i continued to further my education and i achieved qualifications the form of a level 2 award in Team leading, I was a certified ridgeback operation and Commander, I was a certified Team medic,
• I achieved a level 2 NVQ in public services,
• I was awarded a city & guilds certificate in Search team leader
• I was an All Arms Drop Zone Non Commissioned Officer
• I raised my Math's and English qualifications to a level 2 (Standard grade Credit 1)
• I Deployed to Afghanistan again in August 2010 as a section second in command. over and above my section 2IC duties i was also responsible for managing and keeping a log of all the water and food rations stored within my checkpoint and report to the platoon Sargent.
• Due to my Search team qualification i was also very often the point man on patrols tasked with the task of clearing a secure route for the patrol to follow.
• Due to my ridgeback operator and commander appointment i was the only driver and commander of the ridgeback armoured vehicle in my checkpoint.

I started as an apprentice plumber with Baillie's plumbing and quickly excelled and within my first two years i was able to work independently with clear instructions and carry out tasks such is first and second fix of new build properties. Once i attained my driving licence i was attending small breakdown job on my own within my second year of my apprenticeship. During my first three years of my apprenticeship i attended Falkirk College where i excelled to the top of my class and would often finish my tasks and tests first. I completed my apprenticeship and achieved my NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services Plumbing. I also gained my bpec qualification in domestic gas core gas pipework, Boilers / water heaters/ Cookers/ Fires.

Throughout my time at high school i enjoyed my chosen subjects and achieved good grades. After four years i achieved the following standard grades,
