I am an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated aspiring primary teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential. Through my experience as an SEN Play and Youth Worker, Assistant Childminder, and during three primary school placements completed as part of my university studies, I have developed the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to begin my teaching career.
Working with children of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds has strengthened my ability to build positive relationships, adapt learning and activities to meet individual needs, and create inclusive environments where every child feels valued and supported. My experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs has enhanced my understanding of differentiation, behaviour management, patience, empathy, and effective communication with pupils, families, and colleagues. As an Assistant Childminder, I further developed my organisational skills, creativity, and ability to promote children's learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences.
During my primary school placements, I planned and delivered lessons, assessed pupils' progress, and worked collaboratively with class teachers to create engaging learning opportunities. These experiences reinforced my classroom management skills, adaptability, and commitment to fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
I am eager to begin my career as a primary teacher, bringing enthusiasm, resilience, and a reflective approach to my practice. I am committed to inspiring children to become confident, curious, and lifelong learners while making a positive contribution to the wider school community.
