Gracie Bailie

Qualified secondary school teacher with experience gained through Teach First. After completing my degree at Bristol University, I entered teaching and was promoted to Head of the Religious Education Department within my first year.

I successfully led ambitious curriculum changes, writing and implementing new curriculums across the school for Key Stages 4 and 5, including a new GCSE course. Additionally, I ran statutory RE for all year groups, created comprehensive lesson resources, and organised extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement. I ensured compliance with the local syllabus for Key Stage 3 while contributing to a radical improvement drive within the school. I was also selected by my trust to undertake a middle leaders development program as part of my continuous professional development in leadership.
