Innovative techniques will be utilised to aid client engagement, by appropriate social media management. I will ensure effective interpersonal skills to support individuals in recognising and achieving their potential within their chosen goals. Communication will be enhanced through scheduled 1:1 check-in calls to build a strong rapport with clients, and monitor the current effectiveness of training. I will manage my time carefully to maintain this role alongside a full-time job, prioritising tasks, and organising my schedule to ensure I meet all responsibilities.
I have achieved a Level 2 certification in personal training, and a Level 2 in Sports Nutrition. As a self-employed fitness coach, I successfully provided 1:1 personalised in-person training programmes, tailored to an individual's fitness goals. I spent time assessing clients' needs and current fitness levels, and prioritised clear communication to ensure correct form and reduce injury. My approach to training encouraged motivation and accountability within my clients through my ability to establish a positive training environment. I prioritised time management and organisational skills, so that all one-to-one sessions were personalised to the individual. Throughout this job role, I was able to utilise my current certifications and continually expand upon my own interpersonal skills.
As a secondary school invigilator, I facilitated maintenance of the integrity, and smooth operation, of examination processes. My responsibilities within this role included setting up examination rooms, supporting students throughout their exam experience, and adhering strictly to invigilation guidelines as stated by examining bodies. My role also included liaising with school staff regarding special needs accommodations, ensuring equal and fair opportunities were given to all students. Effective communication was maintained between other invigilators and students to minimise exam disruption, and facilitate a calm exam environment. My experience within this role has enhanced my communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both students and educators, as well as my ability to effectively manage time through keeping track of exam durations, and providing timely reminders to students.
