I joined Walesby forest in 2022 volunteering so I could gain work experience. The following year I was successful in gaining a seasonal role within the retail departments at Walesby forest. My duties included serving customer and dealing with any concerns or questions. I have worked the tills, ensuring till accuracy, and have replenished the shelves in the shop during busy trading times. I have also helped in the catering areas serving food and dealing with customer complaints. I have also helped in the on-site kitchen serving food the schools on trips. I have also had to take some extra responsibility when the shop manager was off sick and helped to deal with suppliers and deliveries. I can also effectively engage with the managers and CEO when dealing with shop matters and helping them understand retail from employees' point of view for a better customer and employee experience. My skill includes teamwork, communication, drive to deliver a great service and ability to adapt to change.

As this was a seasonal role I sought something more permanent, and in this search I manage to get a role at Sherwood Forest Centre Parcs as a waitress where I worked in Rajinda Pradesh as a part-time waitress serving members of the public and ensuring a great customer experience by multi-tasking to encourage timely delivery of food and drink. This restaurant is fulling table service to it is vital that I was engaged at all times. In this role I was required to have specialist knowledge around the different foods that the company had to offer and it was essential that this was learnt quickly in such a well respected company, this shows willingness to change, adapt and learning. Within this job title there are many roles such as waitressing, bartending and food delivery. All of this aspects required communication with chefs and colleagues to continue customer satisfaction. Organised, independent worker with strong time management skills. Detail-orientated and able to learn new tasks quickly and effectively. Possessing excellent memory and aptitude for calculations.
