I have worked in care for over 15 years. I have worked in different settings such as supporting people in their own homes, working with adults with learning disabilities and I am currently work on a general medical ward at North Manchester General Hospital. I work extremely well within a team and also on my own. I have excellent time management skills and can work to a deadline. I have strong leadership skills and I am always on hand to give support and advice to my colleagues. I stay calm in difficult and stressful situations that I believe helps others around me. I enjoy learning new skills but also sharing the skills I have already gained. I enjoy new challenges and believe I would thrive in a role such as this

- I co ordinate the band 2 and 3 support staff to ensure the ward works efficiently and smoothly through out the day
- I assist patients with all aspects of personal care such as washing, dressing, oral care retaining dignity and respect

- I am trained in venepuncture, canulation, taking of observations, ecg's and bladder scanning. I am also trained in wound care.
