Since beginning my studies in economics, I’ve made a conscious effort to engage with opportunities beyond the lecture hall — particularly those that allow me to explore financial markets in a more practical, applied setting. While I’ve always enjoyed the mathematical foundations of the subject, it's the challenge of interpreting data, communicating insights clearly, and seeing the bigger economic picture that truly motivates me. My experience as a private tutor and head boy helped me build strong communication and leadership skills, which I’ve carried forward into more analytical roles. Most recently, I’ve taken part in virtual finance simulations and secured an internship in financial research, each confirming my desire to pursue a career where I can blend analytical thinking with real-world financial problem-solving. I’m eager to continue building this foundation — both in and outside of the classroom — as I work towards a career in finance.
