From a young age I have always loved acting, dancing and singing. I joined a theatre group when I was 8 where I developed skills in all 3 areas and discovered that I loved performing. I had to be committed to working hard and I love the challenges that come with performing on stage.
Since studying Musical Theatre at college I have further developed my skills and it has been really good for my self confidence. It has also taught me to be a good listener and to work well in a team. I have become skilled at listening to other people's ideas and making sure that everyone in the group feels heard, happy and involved.
I am also used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines and I am able to keep calm in these situations.
I have used my skills during my time with Unified Rhythm, I am able to connect with the young adults there, some of them have severe learning disabilities and I find this work very rewarding. I love to see the joy it brings them and I feel that I am making a positive difference to their lives. I started off as a volunteer but I am now an employee of Red Zebra who run the group.
I would love to develop my skills in customer service and I am ready for a new challenge.
