Summary
I have just finished my GCSEs and looking forward to starting my A-levels at college in September. I am very personable, polite, hard working and reliable.
As a year 11 prefect in a leadership role, I was responsible for assisting teachers in organising lessons and equipment and enthusiastically communicating about my subject area to younger students and school visitors.
In my spare time I play basketball and represent Havant Basketball Club. I was recently awarded the MVP award from my club and top scorer in the league; I was also awarded year 10 and 11 basketball player of the year at school. My commitment to school and club basketball demonstrate my grit, reliability and motivation to work and communicate in a team setting to achieve positive outcomes.
I am punctual, approachable and keen to learn and gain valuable work experience.

- Calm under pressure: in basketball I am under constant pressure to perform well I am able to do this whilst considering our team's next attack/defence and remain calm as we transition to different game phases
- Problem-solving: I am adept at sorting out issues as I come across them For example, I identified a mistake with my photography coursework and corrected it before submission
- Learned new technology: I taught myself to use various editing apps and software to complete my photography and media studies coursework
- Team building: I have played for a couple of basketball teams and I am great at assisting and helping other team-mates perform I am positive and notice when people do well I know and understand that a team that works well together, gets results
- Managed competing deadlines: by creating a study schedule I managed to complete my coursework and revise for exams successfully
- Adapted when plans changed: I had to redo a media project after the production was shot in the wrong format I completely re-wrote and re-shot the short film to produce a good piece of work and meet the deadline
Affiliations
- I play basketball and have represented Havant Basketball Club, as well as my school. I am a team player and keen to improve my skills on the court and keep performing at a high level.
Accomplishments
I have been awarded the basketball player of the year for the past two years at school, and I was awarded the MVP at my club. I was also given awards for Top Scorer and U16 3-point Scorer by the SABA League.
In years 10 and 11 at school I was a prefect.
