My role requires me to work with children alongside teachers to ensure the students receive the right lessons. On many occasions, I am the only staff member working throughout the whole day, which means I am responsible for opening and closing the AP, ensuring students arrive and leave safely while delivering lessons, and following all safeguarding protocols.
My position at Argos as a responsible colleague has meant that I have to take leadership. I am tasked with ensuring the shop closes smoothly, and this includes tasks such as shutting the system down, locking the store up and dealing with customer enquiries when there aren't managers present.
Selected for the Argos Management Trainee Programme, where I have developed strong leadership, operational and customer service skills. I support the day-to-day running of the store by leading colleagues during shifts, managing cash handling and till reconciliation, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, resolving customer queries and complaints, and maintaining high operational standards. I work effectively in a fast-paced environment, delegate tasks efficiently and help drive excellent customer service and overall store performance.
