First rotation in Chief Control Office, supporting adherence to internal and external risk directives, across compliance, operational risk, information security risk, and business continuity planning. Improved coordination and tracking of of management self-identified issues, audit and regulatory issues and helped to refresh internal control testing program to identify and prioritise key risk issues.
Second rotation in Emerging Payments product team, supporting on legal and governance reviews on the expansion of existing products into new markets, and working with legal counsel and risk to assess the viability of integrating new digital asset products within the bank.
Worked as part of the public enquiries team, primarily supporting on the Post Office Horizon IT enquiry. Responsibilities included reviewing and analysing large volumes of disclosure materials, drafting enquiry documentation and client communication. I maintained meticulous attention to detail, managed sensitive information with discretion and developed my ability to apply and communicate complex laws and regulations with clarity.
Worked within the Payments Product team, primarily contributing to commercialisation of new payments products by developing comprehensive client onboarding guides and assisting with technical training. Conducted in-depth research into the application of blockchain technology in cross-border payments, investigating the technical, regulatory and economic considerations. Part of the Government and Public sector division, primarily focused on identifying and analysing gaps in accessibility and user experience for UK government websites. Delivered WCAG compliant recommendations to key internal stakeholders.
