Summary

I am a dedicated civil servant currently based in the prison service with more than four years experience to date. Within this role I've eagerly expanded my range of skills related to accurate record keeping, ensuring established procedures are followed, and security and safety – including becoming a POA (Prison Officers' Association) committee member, and taking a leading role as Health and Safety Representative on their behalf.
I always take pride in my work and am proud of the relationships I've built within my team, and the great work we've done keeping everything running smoothly, and helping support others to achieve their best, both officers and those serving alike.

  • Reception Officer - working in a team of experienced officers to facilitate incoming and outgoing prisoner transfers, releases and medical escorts. Assessing risk and determining the eligibility and urgency of specific prisoner needs, in collaboration with the induction, healthcare, and management teams
  • POA committee member/health and safety rep - locating and researching relevant policies and procedures, giving advice and guidance to union members.
