Software Development and Cyber Security

(Coursework, Projects & Personal Projects)
Middleton, Greater Manchester

During my time as an undergraduate, I have designed and built several software and web based projects, demonstrating strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a technical inclination for their creation and development. Utilizing contemporary web technologies, I’ve designed websites that are responsive and customer-centric through professional development best practices, resulting in the accurate completion of their functional and functional requirements. I’ve been autonomous when defining scope and plan project requirements; convert ideas into actual implementation; identifying and debugging and resolving technical issues through appropriate testing and optimization.

The success of these projects has helped in improving and understanding of software development methodologies, understanding front-end and modern responsive web design, an awareness of concepts and techniques pertaining to version control and structured development pipelines.

I’ve also completed exams/tests in penetration testing/security challenges/forensic analyses/risk analyses resulting in scores which have well-exceeded expectations across each, building an excellent understanding of basic cyber-security vulnerabilities and risk mitigation. I work diligently and effectively under pressure; my proactive method to identifying and overcoming challenges ensures that all projects are meticulously developed, high-quality, and delivered on time; i’m capable of efficiently learning and adapting to new software development tools and languages. Although I have never taken part in commercial employment in either capacity, i believe i posses a firm grasp of development skills from rigorous individual projects and I’m enthusiastic about continuing developing my expertise in both software development and computer science within a professional working environment.
