Im a bright, confident, articulate young women who is used to working in team environmentsI started playing organised sports at a young age and It's helped me develop a good work ethic whilst also helping me use my time efficiently I am an extrembly competitive individual and I like to work hard to compete and get to the top of any activity I engage in Most recently I have played netball at district level for three years, captaining the team My leadership skills helped my team get to the finals of the district competition where we finished runners up Last year I was selected for Scotland under 17 trials My sporting activities although important to me, have taken a back seat this year as I focus on my studies to become a dentist I am mature enough to understand that at my age I can't rely on my parents to pay for everything in my life This is one of the reasons why i am excited to begin the next chapter of my life in the work place and be more financially independent
I was selected to be a mentor in the MVP programme MVP stands for mentors of violence prevention We took time out of school to go and learn about what MVP is and what it consists of After being trained I made presentation to the junior school about the programme This involved talking in front of the whole assembly and also go into classes and deliver multiple lessons I feel that this opportunity and added responsibility improved my confidence, leadership and teamwork qualities
Interests I have fashion, fitness, interior design.
