Emily Bubb

A motivated and environmentally conscious graduate with a degree in International Relations and Anthropology, seeking to begin a career with Sussex Wildlife Trust as a Trainee Environmental Officer. Although I do not have direct professional experience in the environmental sector, I have a longstanding passion for nature conservation, demonstrated through volunteering at beach clean-up initiatives and a lifelong commitment to protecting the environment. Coming from an economically deprived background, I understand the importance of making nature accessible and inclusive, and I am particularly passionate about encouraging younger generations to engage with the natural world through practical initiatives. My background in the hospitality industry has equipped me with excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in people-focused environments. I am eager to bring my enthusiasm and commitment to conservation to support Sussex Wildlife Trust's work in the nature reserve by protecting wildlife and inspiring local communities to value and care for green spaces.
