I have developed foundational skills in childcare through training and practical experience. Facilitated positive interactions with children and staff, fostering a supportive learning environment. Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
In Year 10, I did teens and toddlers which I got a certificate for. I was a prefect in year 11 which meant that I received safeguard training. In the past I also did baby sitting. In 6th Form, I had work experience in a primary school for my childcare course. for my childcare course i received a grade of a Merit. I also did health and social care, I received a Distinction Merit and with this course a lot of the things that I learnt link closely to working with children. I am currently in University, in my first year studying BA (hons) primary education QTS. During this I have 2 blocks of placement where I had to have a DBS check and I am cleared. I am confident when working with children.
