As a student I am very keen to build employability skills; as a student it is difficult to gain experience. in order to overcome this I worked with my parent who began to manage their own business. I gained a substantial amount of knowledge at a young age about building strong foundations.

I wanted to be fully immersed into the business so I could gain knowledge from the order to the delivery. As the business was creating bespoke pieces such as ceramics tote bags, scented candles and waxes. I was able to use my passion for graphic design and photography to create branding for the business. The skills I feel I have benefited from work experience as it has helped me to understand the value of building trusting relationships with clients and potential clients. The importance of ensuring the time is managed effectively in order to meet deadlines.

I also built strong customer relations by my friendly but professional approach. I ensured the the online ordering facility was effective and user friendly. I supported in ensuring stock was consistent to maintain the productivity. I felt confident in sharing my ideas and my contributions were well received and implemented. I have a record of my creative designs becoming out top selling products
