Compassionate and proactive Mental Health Support Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with complex needs in fast-paced environments. Known for a calm, empathetic approach and strong communication skills, I consistently take initiative to support team cohesion, mentor new colleagues, and improve service delivery. Eager to transition into a leadership role where I can apply my problem-solving ability, emotional intelligence, and deep commitment to person-centred care to inspire and support others in a team setting.
Working in a Secure Unit with adults with learning disabilities, mental health diagnoses and under forensic sections. I have been both 'Bank' and permanent, part-time in this position, hence why I have had other jobs at the same time.
A similar role to Burston House, however this was in the Adult Care Sector, not the Healthcare Sector of Priory. Therefore, less focus on mental health and the forensic side and more focus on learning disability and physical health.
Looking after a young man in his family home.
A very similar role to the Equal Lives job. However, I was working with 4 clients in a home in the community.
