External interests and achievements

I am currently exploring cloud services and cyber security, I complete courses in my free time with aims of completing the Security+ CompTIA and the AWS Cloud practitioner exam as part of my external interests from policing, I have a strong interest in digitally facilitated crimes and the use of IT systems to benefit companies, protect from external threats and evidence gather. Throughout my career I have had opportunities to expand on my knowledge and abilities to manage teams and resources, overseeing smaller operations that are intelligence led and proactive in nature, involving deploying units, providing other officers with information and resources and managing student officers throughout the initial phase of their probationary period. I have received awards for quick decision making utilising decision making frameworks to prevent loss of life or serious injury.
