Volunteer Work

Hanslope Church, Ongoing.

I have volunteered multiple times with my local church, starting to work at the children’s holiday club when I was 14 and continuing for 4 years. This job role included helping to prepare for the club, which ran for a week, then looking after the children whilst they carried out the activities provided. My role differed every year, usually consisting of working with the music section or working with the babies of the youth club.

At 18, I began becoming an adult volunteer for the youth club Inspire, which ran every Friday during term time at Hanslope church specifically for secondary school students. This role consists of helping run activities as well as providing support for the children when needed. I specifically enjoy helping with this youth club as I would attend as a teenager.
