I am an extremely hardworking individual with a strong work ethic and have always ensured my commitment to my role and take pride in doing the very best I can.

A dedicated professional with strong sense of duty, ready to excel as an experienced retired Police Sergeant with 29 years service within Public sector. I have demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills combined with solid communication and conflict resolution abilities.

I have, as a Sergeant, supervised teams of often up to 20 officers and staff. I have been a leader who supports colleagues in embracing their strengths and mentoring individuals to do their very best and further their aspirations.

I have significant experience of dealing with multiple case loads, working in a pressurised environment and in dynamic situations, where it is necessary to adapt my response style depending on the nature of the situation.

I am experienced in supporting victims of crime, in often the most traumatic of circumstances, signposting and identifying safeguarding concerns and risks.

Communication and emotional awareness are key skills honed over the various different roles I have performed.

I am an organised and proactive individual, who can adapt quickly and cope with change. Polite, professional and friendly with everyone I have contact with. Confidentiality and discretion are extremely important to me and have been an essential part of my career.
