• Actively collaborated with all functions to ensure implementation and adherence to factory QMS and own customer specifications and codes of practice where applicable, inclusion of AFL products in BRC scope and active participation in BRC audits on 2SFG sites on behalf of AFL.
• Developed , implemented and monitored fit for purpose procedures for the effective delivery of the export chain to EU and RoW for the wider UKP group overseeing a volume well in excess of 100 exports weekly and supportive documentation for retail exports to NI and ROI. (M&S and Tesco)
• Responsible for the Frozen trading entity technical governance : harmonised SKU list across sites ;
• Led customer audits on behalf of Amber Foods in 2SFG sites .
• Maintained and hosted retailer audits for AFL retail approved lines in 2SFG sites. (Tesco and M&S)
• Coordinated the investigation of retail complaints or RTM's and ensured findings and actions plans were delivered and communicated in timely manner both internally and externally.
• Coordinated the investigation of export complaints and Border rejections , point of contact and escalation for FSA and Defra relating to regulatory and export activities.
• Managed external service providers for the UKP group -Veterinary services, third party cold store accounts , ABP vendors and for Amber Foods -engineering, pest control and specialised surveys tailored to AFL dedicated lines or production areas.
• Led and hosted International Inward Mission for UK trade market access in 2SFG sites : May 2022 VietNam Official Government Delegation for UK export approval, export approval obtained on October 2023 Republic of South Korea AP Veterinary Official. Delegation to secure regionalisation to 10km for the UK, the ban on poultry UK exports lifted.

• Led retail approval audits for Amber foods offal recovery lines (2020 Tesco and M&S)
• Supported NPD in Aldi seasonal (2020) and Iceland product launches .(2017)
• Led and hosted China Inward Official mission for market access Sept 2018.
• Carried out trend analysis and weekly reporting on performance.

• Compiling and collating technical information on primary sites HACCP and procedures.

• Official Veterinarian carrying out export certifications of POAO on behalf of Defra.
• Responsible for ongoing communication with manufacturing sites with the aim of obtaining process and product support documentation against export market eligibility criteria.
• Developing and implementing export SOP's for the Vets in the team.
• China approved OV's responsible for ongoing weekly monitoring of approved sites against the FSA checklist for establishments exporting pork meat to China.

• Statutory meat hygiene inspections in poultry and red meat slaughterhouses.
• Monitoring daily throughputs and conducting welfare verifications and act in matters arising under EU Hygiene Legislation.
