Recently graduated from University of Birmingham in Biological Sciences (BSc) with specific interest in ecology, conservation, and animal behaviour.

Available to start immediately.

University experience in field study, laboratory work, and animal observation studies, complemented by strong skills in data management, experience using UKHab classification data and applying to QGIS habitat mapping, other ICT packages, and production of presentation materials.

Field experience in Norway as part of Arctic and Glacial Ecology module - researching how temperature impacts species richness in alpine regions. In the UK, experience of producing a Site Management Plan for a local SSSI grass and woodland nature reserve, with clear actionable recommendations to address declining habitats.

Enthusiastic, flexible, equally comfortable working in research, bit lab and field based, on all elements of ecology, biodiversity and conservation.

Ready to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting to contribute to biodiversity and conservation efforts.
