University experience in field study, laboratory work, and animal observation studies, complemented by strong skills in data management, experience using UKHab classification data and applying to QGIS habitat mapping, other ICT packages, and production of presentation materials.
Field experience in Norway as part of Arctic and Glacial Ecology module - researching how temperature impacts species richness in alpine regions. In the UK, experience of producing a Site Management Plan for a local SSSI grass and woodland nature reserve, with clear actionable recommendations to address declining habitats.
